Welcome to Redwood Castle in Co. Tipperary, ancient home of the MacEgans and O'Kennedys.

Today the Castle is one of the main historical attractions in the midlands of Ireland. Come and take a guided tour around Redwood Castle and learn about the history of the Castle and surrounding area.

The Castle is open daily in July and August.

REDWOOD BOG: TAPESTRY OF THE BOG 2008
Sunday 17th August 2008
Day begins at 11am. Wellingtons and raincoats strongly advised. Bring your own picnic to enjoy in the castle grounds.

Past Events

EGAN CLAN RALLY
The final leg of the Egan Clan Rally will arrive at Redwood Castle on Sunday 29th June 2008. Visitors will be able to see the ancestral Egan home and listen to two lectures on the clan's place in Irish history.
